To celebrate its 25th Anniversary Issue, The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine featured the Top 1000 Biggest Canadian Companies. They held a cover design contest. This design won. My goal was to show readers that Canada’s business landscape is diverse—a lot more than oil and lumber. This diversity is illustrated with 1000 Maple leaves, each representing one of the companies. Each colour represents a type of business. The frequency of each colour communicates the size of that business sector in Canada.

Schneider Power is a German wind/solar power company. They expanded to Canada and started building wind and solar farms. With their popularity and business growing, Schneider realized that their bright red lighting bolt logo didn't accurately represent their business. This is their new identity.
